Working weekends
It was a miserable weekend, wet and windy, though probably not raining over the damn dams. What does a city do when it runs out of water?
Anyway, I had to work a little on Sunday and upload a new version to a client. At least I can sit in my office and login to their server to do it. No need to get dressed up and drive there for a 20 minute job. All went fine for a change.
Then a little work on a database I hope to make available for purchase on my company website. Mmm...I am currently trying to resolve out exact functionality. This is always a soul searching task - between what I think is required and what I believe the client will want. This is a product so there is no input from clients and our business is too small to do expensive market research...seat of the pant stuff.
But Sunday eventually kicked in and the urge to veg out took over...for a little while at least. I don't know what it is but after a while I get a guilt thing happening and I have to go and do something.
Oh well, that's life on a Sunday.
