I completed a city and guilds advanced diploma in IT which is where i first became interested in Access and Excel and worked as an IT support technician for 3 years but have since become more interested in access databases. I am the secretary of my racing pigeon club and have developed a database for the club which tracks all weekly races, pool money, and birdage and will analyse the race producing a result sheet, the database also holds information on members such as distances loft latitudes and longitudes and personal details as well as annual subscriptions. It also holds templates of forms for federation and WHPU use as well as formatted letters and minutes for federation and members. The database has fully computerised the club and makes the whole process of the day to day running of the club much easier.
