Have developed many database for a wide range of business types. Currently, working only with 2000 and 2003. Not ready or game to get heavily into 2007 at this time. Enough work keeping up with current clients.

Thanks,
This is a great idea. We need a community where we can share what we learn with others. I have little exposure to other Access Developers in contracts since they usually only hire me so this is a great way to connect.
I can get things to work, but I know very little about Visual Basic. I know only things like DoCmd.Maximize and I can write some simple things to change the foreground and background. Otherwise, I know just about nothing. I am really looking for some help and am willing to pay a normal developer's fee for advice and work. If you are interested, or know anybody, please let me know.
I have Access 2007, but I am using Access 2003. I threw away my Visual Basic 6.0 discs by mistake a few years ago because I did not know I needed them to download MS Access Developer. Do you know where I can get a copy of Visual Basic 6.0. Actually, I think I have a copy on a laptop, but I don't know if I can move the entire program.
Thank you very much.
Leonard.
Thanks for the welcome. I am setting up an office/administration database for an NGO. I am look to create a simple employee holiday/sickness form in Access 2003. If you have time perhaps you could point me in the right direction for an existing template or HR database which I could use to help me. Thanks again.
Nice to hear from you -- thanks for the welcome. I'm not a 'heads down' developer anymore, since my job entails a lot of business analyst tasks and user interaction. But I have periods where I put user needs into specs and then develop MS Access applications for their needs. I love MSAccess to solve business problems for small businesses or depts within a large company. There's SO MUCH one can do with Access, that I am always interested in learning more. I stumbled on this site thru a Google MSAccess/VBA update I get daily.
