Hi there,

Does anyone know where I can download a free employee holiday and sickness form for Access 2003?

Many thanks,

What do you want the application to do. Need very specific details.

I need to create a form to track the attendance record of employees. Probably a datasheet in a calendar format allowing the user to enter holidays and sick days etc. I am sure this has been done before and I am wondering if there is a demo database out there which I could look at and learn from for my own design.

Many thanks,
Giles

I tried this for my company a few times and tried to work with calendars for inputting information, but the calendars were always too small and impractical. Instead of using a calendar, I used a form for each employee and a sub form. You retrieve the record (form) for each employee, and you enter the information on the sub form. This would work similar to the Statements or Account receivable program I posted. I deleted the application because I have about 32 employees and entering the information takes a lot of time. What is your experience level with Access. Do you know how to make forms and subforms?

Hi Leonard,

Thanks for the reply. I have got to grips with the basics, creating forms and subforms and learning as I go. Ifound this demo database on the internet which has an impressive looking form to keep attendance records. Take a look and let me know what you think. Ideally, I would like to create something like this.

Thanks again,
Giles
