Hi Ahmed.

I think I understand what it is you're trying to do. Forgive me for being blunt but if I understand correctly then you need to refine your design first. For example, on both tables you have Project Name and Project Number. I would have a table holding the project details. One of which would be project number. The Concrete table, if I understand its purpose, would only have Project Number. You would create a relationship between the two tables.

Another example is both tables having a Slump field. Are these the same?

Do you think my assumptions are correct? If so, I'd like to continue further. If not, could you please clarify. A word picture of what the database would do rather than screenshots of tables may help as well.

Regards
Shane

Hi Ahmed.

I've had another look at your DB. A couple of points. The Form "Form1" isn't bound to a table which is why you're getting a lot of #Name errors. You need to bind the form to a table or query (in this case table). Form1 has a field "Size of Load". The correct fieldname in Table1 is Size of Load: (note the colon).

I've also had a closer look at the database and now I'm a little confused. You have a Word document with a table of BreakTable. What is this? It's not in the DB you uploaded. There is a form called Break but it's bound table seems to be missing.

To create the dropdowns you're interested in:
Create a table called tblSuppliers.
Create a query called qrySuppliers. You would look for all suppliers in tblSuppliers and sort alphabetically.
Create a dropdown on Form1.
Bind this dropdown to qrySuppliers and put the selected item in the Suppliers field of Table1. The wizard will help you here.

I've uploaded a very simple example of the above. I hope it helps.
